I know most mothers would try to keep the germs of their babies... but I have a special friend that works with brains. So the Jay McCarroll's GERMANIA line was perfect!
This little swaddling blanket has blue flannel on the other side and an adorable baby filling!

Quilt for Bear
Welcome to the world baby Bear!
This quilt was based of a baby quilt my Gamie Julie had made for one of my cousins. Its pretty much the same design but with blue as the dominate color where she used pink. Also I bound mine and used a different fabric for the back. Never the less, I credit her with the design and largely as the reason I quilt.
This was the first baby quilt I made and it was the first baby of the next generation in my family- quite fitting I think. Although it does set a that baby quilt maker precedent... I am ok with that!
This quilt was made with love towards the end of 2006.
Hat for Bear
This hat was knit for Bear using soft yarn. I don't know if I still have the label or what kind it was even. The construction is simply stockinette stitch folded inside itself to give a finished feel inside and out. The bumble on top has a nice mohawk effect. This size is definitely newborn.
This was made in the late winter of 2006.
Carolina Baby Quilt
Welcome to the world baby Carolina!
This quilt top just sort of came together. I created the design and it just made itself. I guess its a pinwheel in a windmill effect overall.
Again, I wish I had close-ups, the fabric has nursery rhymes and the white on white has little pansies that looked so nice with the pansy print on the back of the quilt.
This was made with love during the summer of 2008.
Simple Cupcake Pillow
I forgot that I made this- I just found the picture in a file within a file- I should work on photo organization. This was most likely made June 12, 2008 and was probably a late present for something. Perhaps it was a just because I found the perfect fabric...
This was made for a friend that I dubbed Cupcake Cheeks. Due to the suitability of the name I think it has stuck quite well and given the amount of cupcake paraphernalia I have donated to the cause, I will claim partial responsibility.
This pillow is a quick make and quite cheery.
